OneLessTonne.ca
A fun, employee-engagement program that promotes energy savings.
In partnership with Natural Resources Canada and the One Tonne Challenge, The Pembina Institute has developed OneLessTonne.ca, a fun, interactive employee engagement program that promotes energy-efficient actions. OneLessTonne.ca offers an effective suite of customized tools and services for initiating an employee-based initiative to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions.
"We invited employees to commit to reducing their GHG emissions by one tonne. Indeed they did better than that. Imagine what could be achieved if 10 million Canadians did the same."
Dr. J. Ashley Nixon, Shell Canada
How does OneLessTonne.ca work?
Employees simply visit The Pembina Institute's OneLessTonne.ca website, where they choose from among 20 actions designed to change the way we use energy at home or on the road. Pembina's energy-efficiency analysts then use the OneLessTonne.ca tool to calculate your employees' total greenhouse gas reductions and energy cost savings, to show Canadians your company's commitment to fighting climate change.

The Pembina Institute can help your company select the best incentives for your audience in a cost-effective manner.
