Greg is an eco-efficiency analyst within The Pembina Institute's Corporate Consulting Group. Since joining Pembina, Greg has conducted analyses of emissions associated with two pipeline projects at opposite ends of Canada, analysed the environmental and financial benefits of digesting slaughterhouse waste to generate methane, and prepared briefings on environmental issues for political leaders. Previous research foci include the health impacts of flaring, ecosystem valuation, and Total Cost Assessment. One of Greg's primary roles is to provide training in Life-cycle Value Assessment, which is a decision-making methodology that accounts for the potential triple bottom line (ecological, social, and financial) impacts of various project options over their complete life cycles. Greg has also supported a multi-stakeholder assurance initiative for a major Canadian energy company's sustainability report.

Prior to joining the Pembina team, Greg's experience included project engineering with a run-of-river hydropower consultancy, environmental consulting, public service, and a stint volunteering overseas. Greg holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Co-op, Honours) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
